Notice of change in the origin of the agar-agar raw material for fresh tokoroten and renewal of the package design

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued patronage of our products.
Regarding our popular summer-only product, "Tokoroten," we are experiencing difficulties in producing it according to conventional standards due to poor harvests of "Tengusa" (agar-agar) from Wakayama and Chiba prefectures, which is the raw material for the product.
Therefore, in order to ensure a stable supply of products, we have changed the specifications to include tengusa (seaweed) from Shizuoka Prefecture (Izu) and will be selling the product under these new specifications.
Please be assured that the quality remains unchanged from the previous product. The packaging design will also be renewed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, and we appreciate your understanding.
We sincerely hope for your continued patronage in the future.
